Hello sisters! We had a great discussion on week 8 in our Monday Night group. I hope you are finding this study just as valuable as we have. “God has fashioned and equipped us a women to be “mothers,” to bring forth godly fruit for His glory and for the advancement of His kingdom. There is no higher calling or more vital responsibility.”
Scripture makes it clear that God did create women with a unique “bent”and responsiblility for the home. Marrried ro single, women cna glorify God by creating warm, inviting spaces that are conducive to welcoming and nurturing life.”
Here are some discussion questions. You can share your thoughts and comments here, write them down in your book during your quiet time or discuss them with another sister doing the study with you. These all come from the homework.
1. What opportunities has God placed in your current life situation to “joyfilly mother children”?
2. How does the meaning and value that the Bible places on woman’s domesticity differ from the meaning and value culture places on it? Does God’s design for women to be welcoming keepers of the home call for any adjustments in your heart and /or habits? Explain
3. How would you explain to someone that woman’s design to be a helper to man is a high, noble calling, rather than a demeaning or inferior role?
4. How well are you filfilling your mission to “pass the baton” on to the next generation? Stop and ask the Lord if there are any futher ways He may want you to be invesing in the lives of younger women.

Oakwood's One Heart Bible Studies 
First of all, I’m so excited that you guys are doing the 201 study next! I will definitely be buying it and doing it with you. This study has been so helpful for me. To answer a few of the questions above, my current role is very obviously mothering little children, and since I’m a stay at home mom, I’ve had a lot of opportunities to watch my nephews and nieces and be a blessing to family members who are busy and exhausted. I have not had a natural “bent” toward taking care of the home, but God has been working on me and showing me just how much ministry can happen in the home.
I don’t always feel like I’m able to reach out or mentor younger women, I feel sort of limited in what I am able to do, but I’m starting to find out that God’s boundaries and limits are good and His best for this season.

I’m so happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the study and been so blessed by it! I too have been blessed by not only doing the study myself but for getting the online study up and going. I’m so glad you were able to join us and I’m excited you’ll be joining us again!
Raising our children and caring for our husband and our home is most definitely a ministry…a very important one at that!!! I hear your heart to minister to younger women but there is a season for everything and that time will come. All too soon I’m afraid to say, so sit back and enjoy this beautiful season you’re in.
