Week 6 Question/Discussion Starters

Week 6 Questions and Discussion Starters Canvas

Hello friends! Today we just want to encourage you to keep using your prayer cards in the back of the Bible Study Book, post them someplace you’ll see then throughout your day. I pray that through this study, this has become a habit that will stay with you long after our study is over. Here are some questions for you to consider or discuss with others if you’re doing the study with a friend.

  1. How often do you recall your salvation and the transformation Jesus brought to your life? What is Jesus currently doing in your life and how does your relationship with Him impact you daily?
  2. What are some ways to describe the truth of salvation and the helmet of salvation with other women?
  3. Do you usually tend to think of salvation only in terms of what it meant for your past (justification) or your future (glorification)? Or do you also think of it in terms of daily living (sanctification)?
  4. Let us know how we can encourage you and pray for you.

I hope you have a wonderful week of study! Keeping you and your families in my prayers!!

  1. When I feel my life as a Christian is moving or growing too slow I look back on where I have come from. I am encouraged to see all that God has shown me, taught me, shaped me to who I am today. One of my new prayers are “Father strengthen me to put off my old self which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires to be made new in the attitude of my mind and to put on my new self that is created to be like God. It is a moment by moment decision in how I choose to think, act and respond.

  2. Amen! I think that is a great way to see our growth and important too because we all don’t grow at the same pace so all we have is to look back and see if we’re further along than we were a year ago, a month, etc. I like to do that with my prayers too. At times when I don’t feel like I’m hearing from God or that I can’t see Him working, I look back on all the many answered prayers and see the way’s He has worked and how good He is! Praying for God to continue to strengthen you and for you to put off your old self. More of Him and less of me…I like to say.
